Event’s We’ve Attended

  • American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
    • This is an annual 3 to 5-mile fundraising walk that celebrates courage and hope – a movement uniting communities to end breast cancer.
  • Annual Cancer Awareness Fair at the Larry Ellis Invitational Track Meet at Princeton University 
    • We attended this event to raise awareness for our Genetics of Breast Cancer Study and support participant recruitment.
  • Brave & Beyond Pink – Together We Rise
    • This event honored cancer warriors and survivors, remembered loved ones who have been lost, and raised awareness for the fight during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
  • Rutgers Day
    • This is an annual event every April, where we speak with community members, prospective students, current students, alumni, and their families.
  • Rutgers Women’s Basketball Play4Kay game
    • This event is held to honor cancer warriors, survivors, and oncology healthcare team members.
  • ZTA (Zeta Tau Alpha Theta XI Sorority)
    • We held an event with ZTA to raise awareness for our Genetics of Breast Cancer Study.

Upcoming Events:

  • Rutgers Day (4/25/26)
    • At this annual event, we will be promoting our Breast Cancer and Kidney Disease studies by speaking with community members, future and current students, and alumni.
  • NKF Spring Clinical Meeting (5/7/26-5/10/26)
    • This annual educational event will feature breakthroughs in clinical research, healthcare policy, cover all aspects of kidney care, dialysis, transplantation, diabetes, and hypertension.
  • Clinical Trials Day (5/20/26)
    • This annual Rutgers event honors the role of clinical research professionals and highlights the next generation of the science workforce.
  • Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) Conference (6/11/26-6/14/26)
    • This conference offers the latest information about PH research, treatment, and disease-management.
