Frequently Asked Questions – Ancestry Reports

As a thank you for participating in our study, you’ll have the option to receive an ancestry report with a genetic estimate of where your ancestors may have come from.  This is entirely optional—you can choose whether to view it.

It typically takes up to 9 months after your saliva sample is received at the lab for your ancestry report to become available. Reports are processed in batches, so the more participants who join, the sooner your report will be ready. You will receive an email when your report is ready to be viewed in your account profile. You can log in to the study portal and click on the ancestry tab to view it.

Note: If you unsubscribe from our email communications, you will not receive a notification when your report is ready to view.
